our impact

Every year, we survey our family of inclusive teams to assess benefits to team members, retention, engagement, and evolving views on inclusion. See what our advisers have to say about their experience with Generation Spirit.

our teams transform school culture.

When we started Generation Spirit, we believed that inclusive spirit teams would give students with and without disabilities a chance to prove themselves. We didn’t realize then that those teams would simultaneously give entire school districts and surrounding communities chance to prove themselves — to show the world what they're made of and what they value. The results from our annual impact survey indicate that, since starting a Generation Spirit team, students have driven powerful, positive changes.
