Speaking from experience.

Tailored offerings for every school

  • A school is more than just a building. It’s a shared experience shaped by the values of the people who attend. Sarah attended high school alongside her brother Charlie, who is on the autism spectrum. In sharing Charlie’s inclusion story, Sarah sets the stage for a powerful conversation about school culture and each student’s ability to positively influence one another’s experiences. She challenges students to ask: “How can we turn our school into a place where all students feel valued and celebrated?”

30 minutes - 1 hour, designed for middle and high school students

  • What did your school teach you about disability? If you’re like most American students, you’re probably thinking, “not much.” The disability population is America’s largest and most diverse minority — and yet, the one we know the least about. Designed for students and/or educators, this interactive workshop serves as a comprehensive introduction on all things disability inclusion. Workshop attendees will leave with a stronger understanding of disability history, rights, appropriate language, and inclusion best practices.

1-2 hours, designed for students and/or educators

Classroom visits allow us to facilitate deeper discussions and engage in more meaningful, personal Q&A with students.

Give us an hour with your most driven students. They’ll walk away with a concrete plan for pairing their passion with purpose and transforming their ideas into action.

Meet Sarah

Sarah Cronk speaker

Sarah Cronk is a nationally recognized speaker, social entrepreneur, and advocate for people with disabilities.

Sarah’s early interest in disability inclusion was inspired by her older brother Charlie, who is on the autism spectrum. As a high school sophomore, Sarah helped to create the nation’s first school-based inclusive cheer team. Fifteen years later, The Pleasant Valley High School Spartan Sparkles of Bettendorf, Iowa, continue to cheer on the Spartans and shine a bright spotlight on inclusion.

Sarah’s work focuses on breaking down social barriers between students with and without disabilities, helping non-disabled students develop an early understanding and appreciation of disability as a natural part of diversity and diversity as a natural part of life. She has built an impressive and unique repertoire of stories designed to change the way we think about disability, inclusion, and the power each of us has to spark meaningful change in our lives and communities.
